Lead Primary Teacher - Montessori Certified
As a Certified Lead Primary Teacher of Hebron Montessori, you will encourage children to explore their world through Montessori materials. We provide a supportive team to help you be successful in guiding young minds through their early education.

We are seeking a certified Lead Primary Teacher to create comfortable and healthy environments for the children to grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively through the Montessori Method.

Responsibilities:

Guiding children and implementing the rules of the classroom under Maria Montessori's philosophy

Encouraging children to be independent and model appropriate manners and behaviors
-
Maintaining a clean classroom environment that encourages children to develop organizational skills
-
Supervising the group of children in the classroom and on the playground - reporting of incidents to the Front Office Staff
-
Responsible for the health and safety of a group of children
-
Providing clear verbal communication with staff members to enforce smooth, successful daily functions
-
Tracking the progress of each child
-
Maintaining professional behavior and appearance while adhering to the guidelines in our Employee Handbook
-
Attending required staff meetings and yearly training workshops

Skills and Requirements:

Required: AMS or AMI Certified
-
Required: 1 year teaching experience in a Montessori environment

Assistant Teacher - Primary or Toddler
As a staff member of Hebron Montessori, you will encourage children to explore their world through Montessori materials. We provide a supportive team to help you be successful in guiding young minds through their early education.

We are seeking teachers to help assist the Lead Montessori Teachers create comfortable and healthy environments for the children to grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively.
​
Responsibilities:

Assisting the Lead Teacher by guiding children and implementing the rules of the classroom

Maintaining a clean classroom environment that encourages children to develop organizational skills

Supervise bathroom and teach proper bathroom etiquette (change diapers if Toddler Teacher)
-
Supervision of the group of children in the classroom and on the play ground - reporting of incidents to Lead Teacher and Front Office Staff
-
Responsible for the health and safety of a group of children

Provides clear verbal communication with the Lead teachers to enforce smooth, successful daily functions

Maintains professional behavior and appearance while adhering to the guidelines in our Employee Handbook

Attends required staff meetings and yearly training workshops

Skills and Requirements:

Required: Must be able to lift up to 35lbs

Required: Pass a background screening

Required: Highschool Diploma or equivalent
-
Preferred: Previous teaching or assistant teaching at a licensed childcare facility
-
Preferred: Knowledge of the Montessori Method
​
